Program Management

General Services Administration’s Deputy Associate Administrator (DAA) of the Office of Transportation and Personal Property

Tasked with key research and administrative functions, ARMA qualified personnel conduct surveys, execute Individual Development Plan reports, perform research for six DAA divisions and develop presentations and briefing materials. ARMA experts also prepare confidential financial disclosure forms, elicit statistical and narrative information and have total oversight of the DAA’s calendar and travel.

Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome Air Force Base in New York

ARMA provides professional and technical engineering expertise in Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence (C41), Global Awareness, Dynamic Planning and Execution, and Global Information Enterprises.  ARMA collaborates with government agencies, universities and private-sector organizations to provide focus and oversight in technology development, transitioning new programs, leadership, and technical expertise.  ARMA serves as a liaison to various entities, enhancing mission research, effectiveness, and reviews.

System Operations Support

Department of Transportation Volpe Center

ARMA supports DOT’s on-site transportation research library by conducting technical research, reference services, document-mining/warehousing/delivery, and supporting Volpe Center’s functions and projects.

ARMA maintains the library, which contains several special collections, databases, reports, publications, transportation statistics, and Government documentation and standards. ARMA also provides property management, employee processing, shipping and receiving, as well as acquisition of library supplies. These administrative support and services are essential to the overall contract and project performance.

Another core ARMA function is 24-hour support to Volpe Center’s

Office of Hazardous Materials Safety Registration Program—to include managing this program’s Internet, mail and telephone registration, and expedited registration.  ARMA personnel process credit card payments, maintain databases and telephone logs, perform data entry, scanning and imaging systems, and respond to telephone inquiries to resolve discrepancies pertaining to registration information.

Department of Commerce’s HCHB Office of Security Customer Service Center

ARMA staff secures access to facilities by overseeing badge issuing, monitoring visitor access, programming access cards, fingerprinting and taking visa/passport photographs. This agency relies on us to maintain accurate computer databases of biographical and security data, to track badges, keys and other security-related items, verify visitor requests and ensure compliance with security regulations.

Air Force Research Laboratory/ IFOLM

ARMA supplies the lab a range of operational and technical personnel, including engineers, Web site designers, photographers, librarians, and administrative support. Our staff manages and operates the library, the full-service recreation center, the state-of-the-art mail center, and a full-service photography laboratory, in addition to overseeing the inventory of government property.

 

Telecommunications Services

Department of Treasury

ARMA is subcontractor to Verizon Federal on the Washington Interagency Telecommunications System 3 (WITS3) contract. Our staff is responsible for all telecommunication wiring needs and equipment installation in the Washington, DC metropolitan area facility, including LAN wiring, fiber installation, wire identification, and wire testing and removal. ARMA technicians and engineers are in charge of moving lines, adding lines, changes (MACs), disconnects of DTS devices, horizontal wiring (including new jacks), and installation of other station equipment.

A core element of this contract requires ARMA to provide technical support services for the Treasury Renovation and Restoration (TBARR) project and to conduct related wire renovation of DOT’s main building.
